Welcome to Frescas Farms & Vineyard. We  create unforgettable experiences.

Our commitment to sustainable, regenerative and all natural farming practices illustrate our commitment to the highest standards of ethical and responsible stewardship. We invite you to join us on this incredible estate, whether you are an overnight guest or a wine grape buyer, and partake in all of the beauty that this property has to offer.

Indulge in peace and serenity by leaving the city behind.  Our onsite apartment offers all of the amenities one would expect to find, but also includes thoughtful additions such as yoga mats, plush robes, freshly ground Starbucks coffee, complimentary snacks and a glass of bubbly upon arrival.

Photography Sessions

Let us help you capture a timeless moment with your loved ones by scheduling a 60-90 minute private photography session.  Access a variety locations throughout the farm to create the perfect backdrop for your photos.  Professional photographers only. Venue pricing $80 for 60 mins or $120 for 90. Venue fee does not include photographer.

Wine Grapes

 

We are not a winery. We are wine grape growers and sell our product to both home wine makers and local commercial wineries. Our vines are meticulously hand manicured and we use only OMRI labeled products along with regenerative and sustainable management practices.

Pumpkins & Flowers

We love a good adventure and are not afraid to try new things. This year, our guests may enjoy exploring our ornamental and heirloom pumpkin patch along with several rows of seasonal cut-fresh flowers.  Local florists, please inquire for availability and pricing, or to schedule a farm visit to view our inventory.

Grass Valley

 

Deemed one of California’s richest gold mining towns during the gold rush era, you will find history galore steeped in every corner of this town. Nevada City

 

Declared one of the best preserved historical Gold Rush towns in America, Nevada City is a destination hot spot for tourists who are seeking a modern day version of the gold rush era vibe. Visitors can enjoy an array of restaurants, intriguing shops, boutiques, galleries and museums. Known for its theater and art scene and their annual Victorian Christmas. 

Empire Mine State Park

 

Empire Mine State Historic Park is the site of one of the oldest, deepest, and richest gold mines in California. In operation for more than 100 years, the mine extracted 5.8 million ounces of gold before it closed in 1956. Learn about the 367 miles of abandoned mine shafts, take a guided tour of the owner’s estate and gardens or simply enjoy the 14 miles of trails within the park to explore on your own.

Lake Tahoe

 

Situated high in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, Lake Tahoe boasts the 2nd deepest lake in America and offers visitors a breathtaking view from any vantage point. The region also provides an abundance of year round recreational opportunities that include boating, biking, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding and golf to name a few. Indulge in nightlife or catch at show at one of the local casinos on the Nevada side. 

Wine Trail


Avoid the crowds and expense of Napa Valley and enjoy some of the golden state's award winning crafted wines of the Sierra Vinters Wine Trail while taking in some of the best views that California has to offer. Conveniently located within a short drive from one another, wine enthusiasts will have plenty of options to visit multiple tasting rooms during their visit to Nevada County.
